Good cooperation on the task resulted in a further extension of scope of works, ie.: the construction of the foundations of another furnace with use of 6 thous. cu. m. of concrete, pillar-slab structures and concrete work for other production buildings. Contract included works for 12 buildings. Due to the use of beam and block ceilings embedded in the reinforced concrete frames, the implementation required from the contractor a specific execution method to fit the design.
Scope of works: Comprehensive concrete work for the expansion of a plant for one of the largest manufacturers of glass - Saint Gobain. The works included a construction of a glass furnace, glass production line, glass cutting and assembly hall and three other glass production facility.

Confirming an excellent reputation and market position as industrial reinforced concrete works contractor, AWBUD started, in February 2008, a specialized reinforced concrete works of the two-station ladle furnace for ArcelorMittal Poland. Reinforced concrete structures with capacity of 4.5 thousand cu. m. and earth works of 20 thous. cu. m. Scope of works included: foundation of furnaces and transfer cars, multifunctional building, reconstruction of underground utilities and piles head treatment.

As a subcontractor AWBUD has completed comprehensive reinforced concrete works: foundations, pillars, walls and concrete floors of the office building, production halls, social rooms, office and warehouse. The basic 10.80m pillars of the hall were made in the “wet” technology at the construction site. Cosmetics plant expansion in Garwolin was implemented in two stages.

AWBUD competed this task as a comprehensive contractor of industrial foundations, technological canals and foundations of buildings and concrete roads and stacking yards. The task consisted of nine, 900 m. long structures. All works were performed during continuous operation of production plant which required very precise coordination. Completion of the investment in time and the inclusion of railway siding for traffic has been recognized as a success by the Investor and confirmed by a letter of reference.

Comprehensive reinforced concrete works of 13 thos. cu. m. at casting line, foundation of a rotary table, electrical wells, technological channels and foundations as well as a foundation foot. In order to meet the schedule and technological requirement of the one of the biggest steel manufacturers, works were executed in three shifts work system. Continous casting line in D±browa Górnicza was one of the biggest Mittal Steel investments in Poland.
